following the original concept of feathered back of the wing.... and then scrapped it entirely o_o
so here I lost quite a few hours of work scraping all that work. I just didn't like how the feathers wouldn't fit on the shape of the wing. so after attaching them all I ripped them all off
flower pettal wings :D
I figured I might as well include a texture on the wings that would imitate the veins of the leafs of a pettal. I do love the end result
those hands just didn't want to work for me. 3 re-do's before it was acceptable
so many things went wrong. 2 with wire cores, one too large the other just fell appart, one clay hands I used was too pendy and just would stay put and then finally the fourth pair were the ones I used. Finally! XD

Idea concept for the queen
I wanted something that would look very regal and maybe magical :)
all golden and in it's shell
The only mistake I'd like to change is making the holes in the egg pattern larger so the bird would be more visible
Using the clay dishes I'm setting up the base to this piece
far from looking natural but then I didn't intend it to look natural

there are 3 colors I worked with because I initially attempted to separate the three sections to put a bird inside but it turned out a smaller single "door" would have been perfectly enough

Why does the face always turn out so different from what I planned? XD
as usual, the fur is comes along nicely but for the future I'd be trying to follow a more natural fur pattern :)
to ride a dragon you need some riding gear
there was some precise work here making it on such a small scale. So I went with something that look really crude and basic, meant only to do it's job. Unlike the twin piece to this one, the Queens dragon counterpart :)

Well, a queen needs a castle as well, so here is the first part of it
The hardst part of this was probably trying to figure out just how to represent an entire castle without making the entire castle as a platform XD In the end setteled for making just the gate and part of the wall to hint at there being something of an elite entrance behind the massive doors that the queen is stationed infront.
